During the months of March through to June, the Green Door Store played host to the Brighton Heats of Bloodstock’s “Metal 2 The Masses”.
The Brighton Heats were jointly run by Jackhammer Promotions & Infurnum Records, and during all of the Heats, Metal Meyhem Radio were represented, and interviewed the bands that headlined the nights.
During the final held on on June 30th, mic duties fell to Ritual of the Fourth host Elliot.
On the night, 6 bands went head to head to battle their way to earn a spot at arguably the UK’s biggest Open Air Metal Festival, Bloodstock Open Air Festival.
Competing bands on the night (in no particular order) were:
Kinzoku, GAIA, Stormcast, Tales of Autumn, Grim Ravine, & Villainous .
Also making guest appearances on the night were Brighton Doom Metallers King Goat, Horror Punk-Metallers HeLL PuPPeTs, and Brutal Death Metallers Enslavement.
The difficult decision of choosing the winner of the Brighton Heats fell to Bloodstock’s New Blood Stage Manager, Simon Hall.
